Dallas Love Field Modernization Program

Dallas Love Field Modernization Program

As a part of Dallas Love Field Modernization Project, several existing water and wastewater mains within the Love Field Terminal & Apron were replaced. ARS designed approximately 10,000 linear feet of 8” and 12” water/wastewater main replacement, as well the replacement to an existing 36” water transmission main traversing across the airport.

The existing 36” water main was replaced with a 48” water line along Shorecrest Drive and Lemmon Avenue, eliminating the need for a water line running underneath airside pavement. The design of the new water lines posed significant challenges to avoid the large number of other utilities that exist within both streets’ rights‐of‐way.

ARS prepared a preliminary design report, design development plans, construction document plans, and as-builts.
